FlimsyMail provides disposable email inboxes. This policy describes how we handle information when you use our website and receiving service.
What we collect
- Email content — messages sent to addresses on our domains are stored temporarily so you can read them in the inbox UI or via API.
- Technical logs — IP addresses, request metadata, and structured application logs for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Abuse reports — if you submit an abuse report, we store the details you provide.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal data.
- We do not send outbound email on your behalf.
- We do not require an account for public inboxes.
Retention
Messages are automatically deleted after approximately eight days unless a shorter retention applies to your plan. Logs and abuse reports may be retained longer for security and legal compliance.
Public inboxes
Public inbox names are not password-protected. Anyone who knows or guesses the address can read messages. Use a random name or a private API inbox (when available) for sensitive use.
Third parties
We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, email routing) to operate the service. They process data only as needed to provide their services to us.
